"Wild" Parakeets
Over time, parakeets that have escaped or been set free have adopted to the Sonoran desert around Phoenix Arizona. They do well in the climate. I have 4 that have joined the local birds at my bird feeder.

Winter Storm
Winter storms in the low elevation parts of Arizona usually just mean some clouds in the sky, sometimes some rain.

Simple Things
I didn't think tossing a few left over wildflower seeds in an empty flower pot would work out so well.

The Begining
this is just a begining point, and in keeping in the tradition of such, it well not be very impressive, so to allow for plenty of room for improvement over time. I plan to use this space to talk about the desert area I live in, the sonoran desert of central Arizona, about 50 miles east of Phoenix. I have lived in this desert for most of the last 17 years, and just want to share some of the things about it that I think make it unique, and maybe some pictures form time to time. Thanks for your time.
